BorderCars.com.au is a website for people from Albury, Wodonga and the surrounding areas to buy/swap/sell there car.

HOW CAN BORDERCARS.COM.AU POSSIBLY BE FREE?

The website is currently FREE to list your car, bike boat or business listing, maybe once I get a few thousand people a day wanting to list there cars in Albury on the website, then I might start charging, but until then I’d like to see the site grow and be the go-to place to buy/swap/sell cars on the Border and North-East Victoria. One day I may even see a cheque from Google adwords, and if we get enough traffic through the bordercars.com.au site then that helps keep the site free.

HOW DO I LIST MY CAR ?

Click on the POST AN AD button and follow the instructions. You will need to sign up to manage your ads, but dont stress you dont have to pay anything, give me your credit card or sign your house over to me.

HOW CAN I PROMOTE MY AD TO THOUSANDS OF LOCALS ?

Once you have made your ad, you can then click on the ad you have created and view it on the bordercars.com.au site.

Then place your mouse over the URL (the bit that says www.bordercars.com.au/details-of-your-cool-car-for-sale-in-albury-wodonga )and right click your mouse and choose COPY.

Then go to your favourite facebook page or troll the net and whenever you want your ad to show, right click and choose PASTE. This will place a link to your bordercars.com.au ad onto a certain facebook post / page as well as showing a description of your car and whatever pic you used for your ad.

So thats easy. All you have to do is PASTE the link for your car anywhere where you want your ad shown !! SIMPLE. no more retyping over multiple facebook posts, or taking a screenshot of your ad. just PASTE the link and wait for the enquiries to come flooding in .

HOW DO POTENTIAL BUYERS CONTACT ME ABOUT MY CAR OR PART?

Using the old fashioned telephone of course !, also they can fill out the enquiry from next to your ad and send you a message via the interwebs !

WHEN DOES MY AD EXPIRE?

90 days from date of listing.

WHAT ELSE DOES IT DO?

When you log in , you can see stats on how many people have viewed your ad, in a total and daily amount. You can also see when it was listed and the expiry date.

IS THERE A LIMIT ON HOW MANY ADS I CAN PUT UP?

So long as your not spamming the site or trying to sell shoes, and your ads are locally based to the Albury – Wodonga – Wagga – Wangaratta – area then go for it !!

CAN I LIST MY CAR RELATED BUSINESS FOR FREE?

Yup, in fact we encourage it, so if you know someone who is in the auto repair industry around town – send them over !
